Language apps chase streaks. You wanted a language.

Points, leagues, guilt trips — engagement metrics dressed up as learning. Holt gives no grades and sends no shame. Just real knowledge, reinforced by real practice.

You are not walking alone.

An AI teacher plans your next step. An AI methodologist watches the whole journey and adjusts the course. Like a warm light ahead — the fog gives way where you walk.

It sees your mistakes — and knows what they mean.

Holt keeps a living model of your knowledge. Every answer updates it: the system diagnoses what is shaky and hands you exactly the next thing worth learning. No fixed course. No busywork.

No levels. A map.

"B1" says almost nothing. Holt shows a knowledge graph instead: what you hold firmly, what is wobbling, what is still in the fog. Learn — and the mist clears. Forget — and it honestly rolls back.

Knowledge that holds itself.

Skills are woven together: use the complex, and the simple beneath it stays alive without drilling. Practice grows from your own texts and your own world. Quiet achievements sprout along the way — a pleasant bonus, never the point.

First languages: English · Russian · Arabic · German · Italian · Spanish

There is no finish line. That is the honest part.

A language never ends — and Holt never pretends it does. There is always another clearing ahead. Leave your email and be there when the forest opens.

Questions and answers

What is Holt?
Holt is an AI language tutor for busy adults. It keeps a living model of your knowledge — a skill graph — decides what to give you next, and locks learning in with adaptive spaced repetition.
How is Holt different from Duolingo or LinguaLeo?
No streaks, no leagues, no pressure. Holt does not optimize engagement — it optimizes learning: it knows what you hold, what you forgot, and never drags you through what you already know.
Which languages are available?
First pairs: Russian ↔ English, English → Arabic, Russian ↔ German, English → Italian, Russian → Spanish. More pairs are generated as the platform grows.
Do I have to practice every day?
No. Nothing burns down if you skip a day. The repetition schedule adapts to your rhythm: miss a week and Holt recalculates the plan instead of punishing you.
What does "a graph instead of levels" mean?
Levels like B1 average you out. A graph is a measured map: which skills you hold, which are shaky, which are untouched. You only review what is actually fading.
When does it launch and what will it cost?
